We believe healing is a journey, not a single moment of transformation. We walk alongside our clients who are ready to explore and understand how trauma, emotional neglect, attachment wounds, and long-standing survival patterns have shaped their lives. We help clients challenge old patterns and reconnect with their authentic selves.
As a growing multi-state practice, we offer secure, accessible virtual therapy across Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and multiple other states our therapists are licensed. Whether you’re navigating transitions in a rural area, a new duty station, or simply seeking flexible support from home, our services are accessible across many state lines.
Who We Work With
Many of our clients come to us feeling overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of people-pleasing, or unsure of who they are outside the roles they’ve been expected to fill. Some carry the weight of trauma, both big and small, that continues to shape how they move through the world. Others find themselves constantly giving to others at the expense of their own well-being—unsure how to say “no” without guilt or how to create boundaries that actually feel safe and sustainable.
We specialize in helping individuals recognize how early experiences, relationships, and survival strategies are still influencing their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we explore these patterns with compassion and curiosity—not criticism or shame—so that meaningful healing can begin.
Our therapists specialize in working with clients who are navigating the lasting effects of:
Complex trauma (C-PTSD)
Post-traumatic stress and PTSD
Emotional neglect
Attachment wounds
Chronic overwhelm or burnout
People-pleasing, over-functioning, and perfectionism
Anxiety
Depression
Difficulty setting boundaries
Identity loss or disconnection
Many of the individuals we support appear “put together” in their day-to-day lives yet internally feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Our therapists help clients understand how their early and adverse adult experiences shape the nervous system, identity, and relational patterns they carry today.
Healing begins by approaching these patterns with compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for the survival strategies that helped you endure.
A Neurodiversity- and Identity-Affirming Space
The Healing Quest is committed to providing an inclusive space for all identities and lived experiences. We recognize that trauma and neurodiversity frequently intersect, and many of our clients have ADHD or other forms of neurodivergence that were misunderstood or unsupported throughout their lives.
Our therapists approach neurodiversity through a strengths-based, affirming lens. We support clients who are navigating:
Executive functioning challenges
Internalized shame and masking
Sensory regulation
Parenting neurodivergent children
Neurodivergence combined with trauma histories
We are also proud to be an affirming and inclusive practice serving LGBTQIA2S+ communities, individuals exploring identity, and those seeking a therapeutic space grounded in safety, affirmation, and respect. We strive to create a space where all clients feel respected, seen, and supported in their healing journey.
Support for Parents & Families
The effects of trauma, people-pleasing, and emotional disconnection often ripple into the next generation. Many of the adults we work with are parents who see their children beginning to struggle in similar ways - with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty regulating their feelings and behaviors. Even if we’re only working with you for now, your healing has the power to shift the dynamic in your home.
As our practice grows, we will begin offering therapy for children as well creating a space where both you and your child can be supported in growing, healing, and connecting more deeply with yourselves and each other.
How We Help
Our practice offers trauma-informed, evidence-based, and relationally grounded care.
We specialize in:
EMDR therapy
Complex trauma and single-incident trauma treatment
Attachment-focused therapy
Somatic and nervous system-based approaches
Identity and parts-oriented work
Support for military families and frequent movers
Healing requires more than insight; it requires a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, attunement, and safety. Our therapists strive to create an environment where you can:
understand your nervous system
identify patterns that no longer serve you
reconnect with parts of yourself you had to silence
build a life that aligns with your values, needs, and identity
This isn’t surface-level work. It’s deep, transformative healing that honors both your resilience and your pain. Whether you’re navigating burnout, anxiety, life transitions, or the long aftermath of trauma, we offer a space that is grounded, collaborative, and tailored to your needs.
Most importantly, we believe in your capacity to grow—even when the path is hard or winding.
